TSA Groping, Submit and Comply, Really?

I have a question,
While TSA personnel are groping genitals of all airline passengers who refuse to be photographed naked by backscatter scanners, and while the public assumes that this display of groping assures the safety of airline travel, who is to say that a TSA employee who is doing the groping  is legit? Who is to say that a TSA groping employee cannot be compromised? Who are these TSA people and what are their qualifications? Where did they come from?
During my previous career, I used to travel quite a lot, and I must say that an awful lot of the TSA employees that I saw looked like minimum wage type product. This is not being mean, truly, just a fact of observation… and we trust them with such things – touching our package and breasts for the sake of security. Sorry to be graphic, but that is apparently what is going on.

Most of the public automatically assumes a posture of pacifism when they see someone in a uniform. Are the TSA the modern day “brown shirts”? Who is the enemy here? It seems like we are…
While the TSA endeavors down this new path of groping genitalia of children, wives and grandmothers, why should this make us feel more safe and secure then before?
What do you think the level of experience, expertise, and training is to become a TSA employee qualified for front line groping? How is it that we are safer now because 7 year old junior is now practically strip searched, or grandma’s breasts are felt for explosives? Really? Really?
Admittedly I do not have the answer, however the recent escalation of invasion of privacy has risen to such a level, that I cannot help but wonder these things. While we give up our rights to privacy and willingly allow TSA personnel to grope our wives and daughters breasts and genitals, why would we think that this is OK and submit without a fight? Are we all whimpering pacifists, afraid to question “our leaders”? Really?

Why are we the terrorists?

I have been resisting the urge to post on the subject of the recent TSA procedures, but the libertarian tendencies in me just can’t accept this without action. I have not flown since the new TSA procedures were put in place, so do not have personal experience with what is really going on – only what I have been reading about, which is partly why I have waited until now to opine.
This type of action, completely giving up your rights for the sake of “security” is a very bad road to be on. This will lead to nowhere good. There has to be another way. Apparently the majority of the flying public (about 80 percent) are accepting naked backscatter scanner photos of themselves. About 20 percent are refusing and are subjected to breast and genital groping instead.
So, in other words, it seems that 80 percent of the public are OK with this? That is disturbing, if my assumption is true (assumption being that the 20 percent that are subjected to groping, are doing so in protest of backscatter scanners).
I would be curious to hear opinions on this subject, and feel free to comment.
I’ve heard that there is a movement afoot to protest during the upcoming Thanksgiving Holiday travel period, by refusing the naked backscatter scanner, or not flying at all.
